FieldView
The job site photo app
that files itself.
FieldView puts every job photo in the right place automatically — organized by job, GPS-tagged, annotated and on a map — inside the same system as your customers, quotes and jobs.
- Photos filed by job
- GPS-tagged & annotated
- Uploads when signal returns
Photos are the best record a contractor has: of the condition before you started, of the work behind the drywall, of the finished job. But most of them end up in someone's camera roll, mixed with family pictures, and impossible to find when the customer calls with a question.
FieldView fixes that by making the job the place photos go. A crew member takes a picture from the job in the app, and it is filed to that job — no albums to create, no uploading at the end of the day, no texting pictures to the office.
What FieldView does
- Organized by job and project. Every photo belongs to a job, and the job belongs to a customer.
- Photo feed. See what is being captured across all your jobs as it comes in.
- Map view. Photos are GPS-tagged, so you can see where each one was taken.
- Annotations. Mark up a photo to point out damage, measurements or what needs to happen next.
- On-site capture. Photos are saved on the phone and upload when signal returns.
Why it matters
Photos that do real work.
Before & after
Document conditions before you start and the finished work after, on the job record where anyone can find them.
Hidden work
Capture framing, wiring, plumbing and substrate before it is covered up.
Change orders
Show the customer exactly why the scope changed, with photos on the same job as the signed change order.
Office visibility
The office sees progress without driving out or calling the crew.
Built into the platform, not bolted on
A standalone photo app is one more subscription and one more place to look up the customer. FieldView lives inside FullScope Pro, so photos sit next to everything else about the job:
- The customer and property from the CRM.
- The quote and change orders from estimating.
- The crew's hours from the time clock.
- The schedule and checklists from field service.
Made for the field
FieldView runs in the FullScope Pro Android app alongside jobs, the time clock and chat. Photos from iPhones are handled too, including their HEIC format. An iPhone app is coming.
Control over who sees what
Viewing, capturing, annotating and managing photos are separate permissions, granted person by person. A crew member can add photos to their jobs without being able to delete anyone else's.
Included in every plan
FieldView is part of jobs, and jobs are in every plan, starting with Starter. There is no separate photo app to subscribe to — the crew takes the pictures the job needs, and they are on the job when the office looks.
Questions
Common questions
What happens if there's no signal on site?
Photos are saved on the phone and upload when signal returns, so they are not lost in a basement or on a rural job.
Are photos GPS-tagged?
Yes. Photos carry their location, and the map view shows where each one was taken.
Can I mark up a photo?
Yes. Annotations let you draw on a photo to point out damage, measurements or next steps.
Is FieldView an extra charge?
No. FieldView is part of jobs, which are included in every plan.
Do iPhone photos work?
Yes. iPhone HEIC photos are handled. The Android app is in early access and an iPhone app is coming.
